The Story Behind Glanville
From Days Off To A Business I’m Proud To Put My Name To
I started Glanville while working as a firefighter, initially to supplement my income around my shift pattern. It did not take long for me to realise that I thoroughly enjoyed running my own business.
I spent more and more of my time learning, improving the service and focusing on the kind of premium properties where planning, care and detail really matter. I eventually took the leap into Glanville full time — and I have not looked back since.
Taking on larger outdoor projects was the turning point. It showed me how much I enjoyed combining practical construction, careful planning and a finished space the customer could genuinely enjoy.

I have always been practical. With family in the construction industry, I grew up helping where I could, learning skills along the way and developing them through seven years of hands-on experience.
